I would argue that, given enough time, -nothing- remains on it’s original trajectory, and recognizing and accepting that is a step towards shaping where the direction of the next trajectory might lead. Paths fork, branch, dip, split, climb, and twist, whether or not we can anticipate those changes while in the process of walking; and while in the end we might not have a map, at least we can travel with our eyes as open as possible.
